About Kathryn

Kathryn Russell is a 21-year homeowner and taxpayer in Deep River with a lifelong connection to and love for our town. She is the niece of Emy Marvin, the former 3-term Selectwoman in Deep River and leader in the renovation of Deep River Town Hall.

Kathryn is a dynamic and personable business professional
who has worked in leadership roles with several Fortune 100 companies. She earned a BA from the University of Michigan and a Master of Business Administration from Wharton.
​Kathryn has a lifelong record of non-profit volunteer work. In Deep River, she has served on the Deep River Public Library Board, been a member of Deep River Rotary, volunteered at the Shoreline Soup Kitchen and is a long term member of the Deep River Congregational Church.
Currently, Kathryn represents Deep River on the board of River Valley Transit. As a Selectwoman she has been instrumental in securing revenues and lowering costs, saving our taxpayers $500,000.
